Save the Date! Before we get into summer cocktails…if you happen to be in NYC on Tuesday, August 5th, we’re throwing a rooftop party at the Times Square Edition from 6:30-8:30pm to celebrate our Wm Brown and Yolo Journal summer issues. We’d love to see you there. (More details to come on our IG.)
Finally I’m doing a Q&A! The August 3rd edition of this newsletter will be devoted to answering your questions! If there’s anything you’ve been wanting to pick my brain on, this is the way to do it! You can submit your questions by dropping a DM on the Wm Brown Magazine Instagram, sending to our chat on Substack, or by leaving a comment on this post below.
Now, much like we did around this time last year, I’ve decided to reboot my summer drinking regimen. After all, no man—even myself—can live on Negronis (or gin and tonics) alone.
I’m partial to easy, approachable recipes for when I’m relaxing at home, and even more so when it’s boiling outside. So, with the mind to find novel but easy to execute warm weather-drinks, I busted out the proverbial rolodex and sourced options from bartending friends from Manhattan to Maine.
You’ll find them all below. And while you might have to run out to the store for a particular liqueur (or in one case, lemon sorbet), most of the ingredients should already be in your home bar.
