22 prime picks for my favorite time of the year
As I’ve stated many times in the past, fall is hands-down my favorite season. I’m all for foliage—but what I really live for is the return of tweed, corduroy, waxed cotton and all those other autumnal fabrics whose heavier weights and richer textures are exciting after months spent in linen and swimsuits (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
I’m again breaking down my seasonal kit list to share what I’m most looking forward to getting into. If you’ve followed me at all, you’ll realize that there are few surprises below—and that’s ok. Rather than pushing you to splurge on whatever’s driving trends this season, I’d much prefer that men steadily build up a wardrobe of fall staples they can look forward to bringing out of storage each year. That being said, there are also a few fresh finds discovered on recent travels in New York and elsewhere.
