Falling in love with this city, and an epiphany with its food scene

Apologies that I’m a bit tardy this week getting this newsletter out. It has been a whirlwind. I am sitting on the terrace in Rome after a quick departure from NY. Last week I made a very quick trip to Texas to see how Stetsons are made (more on that later), followed by a big launch party for our spring issue the night before we left! Our cover star Davide Baroncini and his lovely wife Pia were in town from LA, and we all gathered on the newly opened rooftop bar of the W Hotel to celebrate.

There was definitely a quick bit of overpacking—we’re in Europe until mid-summer—albeit with a ton of zigzagging. First up, a quick touch down in Rome to drop bags and repack for a four day trip to Athens to shoot the next style feature for Wm Brown.
